    Marketing Manager with experience in the Sports Market Business or CPG Industry.   

    Essential Functions:

    o   Assist with all marketing activities supporting brand team in the development of business cases as needed for new brand platforms that will include the development of strategic rationale, product positioning, pricing, and project financials.

    o   Provide support to the development and execution of tactical plans, including promotional plans, sampling, tradeshow and advertising support, customer marketing support, etc., ensuring that they are on strategy and support broader strategic brand marketing plans.

    o   Ensure ROI analysis is completed on key programs to influence future marketing investment.

    o   Monitor sales, margin, and volume across key products and categories. Identify & recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality, reduce costs or otherwise improve progress against business objectives.

    o   Support portfolio maintenance activities including product renovation tasks (i.e. label refresh, reformulations, new formats, etc.) and assesses and provides recommendations for new product opportunities that help to round out the portfolio.

    o   Support innovation pipeline projects and ensure key project milestones are successfully met on time, regardless of whether marketing or another function in “on point” for said milestones.

    o   Support initiatives with Brand and in-house creative team to create/improve advertising copy, media plans, promotion plans.

    o   Partner with the sales and marketing teams to assist in the development of customer plans for key accounts.

    o   Maintain a strong understanding and passion for the sports nutrition/fitness/wellness category.

    o   Support day-to-day business management activities, and executes other projects or activities as requested.

    o   Represent Marketing Department in group meetings as applicable.

    o   Plan and execute Product Launch 360o Strategies.

    o   Manage local team, suppliers and agency relationship

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    o   Proficient in MS Office Programs including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

    o   Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills required.

    o   Attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.

    o   Strong organizational skills and Communication skills (written and verbal)

    o   Detailed oriented and Self-Motivated

    o   Must have known experience in the Sports Market Business or CPG Industry.

    o   Exceptional research and organizational skills

    o   Ability to think creatively and innovatively

    o   Exceptional Presentation Skills

    o   Fluent in English and Spanish

    o   Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

     

    Education/Experience:

    ·          Bachelor or Associate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration and/or Management

    ·          MBA preferred

    ·          Previous experience in office administration (3 to 5 years)
